Meet Dr. Alex Wong
Dr. Alex Wong received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from our very own University of British Columbia. After graduation, he moved to the cold north of Fort St. John, B.C. to provide much-needed care to the underserved community. In this smaller town, he was able to give back by providing services that patients would otherwise have to drive or fly several hours to receive.
The several years he spent there exposed him to a wide array of cases while still allowing the flexibility to seek out and attend top-notch Continuing Education courses across North America. He continues to pursue new and modern modalities across a wide variety of dental disciplines.
Dr. Wong is a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center, where the focus is on excellence in full mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic dentistry. He also holds his Associate Fellow designation with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry—signifying many hours of study, credentialing, and experience in implant dentistry. Additionally, he has a focus on utilizing modern digital tools to help streamline the patient dental experience.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, from preventative care with children to full mouth rehabilitation involving implants, root canals, veneers, and crowns. Dr. Wong believes that a healthy discussion about treatment options is essential so patients can make the best decisions regarding their dental health. He is excited to help achieve your dental goals and looks forward to meeting you soon!
When Dr. Wong isn’t spending time with his wife and two daughters, he enjoys baking sourdough bread, making Neapolitan pizza, and playing volleyball. He’s looking forward to future travels around the world—and dragging his kids along with him!
