Dr. Vanessa Lee was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. Coming from a line of dental professionals, it was no surprise that she continued her dental training after receiving her Bachelor of Science at UBC. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine from UBC, and upon graduation, she was honoured with the Excellence in Prosthodontics award.

Dr. Lee has since been practicing dentistry in the Lower Mainland. She has developed a strong interest in rebuilding healthy smiles, which led her to continued studies with renowned institutes such as the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, BITES Institute, Kois Center, and Align Technology. Through this, she gained proficiency in cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, surgical extractions, implants, clear aligner orthodontics, and full mouth reconstructions.

With over a decade of experience, Dr. Lee has focused on prioritizing patient-centered care, practicing evidence-based dentistry, and her own continued professional development. With ever-improving technology and knowledge, Dr. Lee believes it’s imperative to be a life-long learner to better serve her patients.

In addition, Dr. Lee understands that receiving dental treatment can be intimidating, so she aims to create an experience to reduce dental anxiety. She takes the time to listen to her patients, clearly explains dental procedures, reviews all options, and invites open communication.

When Dr. Lee is not saving smiles, you can catch her teasing her sweet tooth by dabbling in baking, unwinding with movies of all genres, and testing her amateur bartending skills by mixing complex cocktails. You might also find her tending to her garden and developing her green thumb, or walking her family dogs.
